Shooting With A Purpose
What is Femme Noir?
Femme Noir is a class designed for women of color that will help you take full control in creating and executing a session your clients will love. We will cover a range of topics to include effective client communication, location scouting, what to wear, makeup, colors and more! Photographers will then be challenged to apply what they've learned in a live shoot! If you are a skilled photographer and ready to take full control of your sessions, then this is the class for YOU!
TREAT YOUR PAID SESSIONS LIKE YOUR STYLED SESSIONS!
Communication is key! You will learn how to put together a welcome magazine that will help your client better prepare for their session while allowing you to achieve that same "styled" look with a paid session.
Are you utilizing your locations to their FULL potential? Location scouting is important, but the real question is are you TRULY utilizing your locations? You will definitely begin to look at locations differently- PROMISE! Learning how outfit selections, skin tones and location can all work together to create magic!
Now it's time to put everything you have learned into action! I will show you how to maximize your location scouting efforts. You will get to photograph a full session with 3 beautiful clients! One location, three clients and three looks, what magic will YOU be able to create?
WHAT TO WEAR
What should I wear? This topic will help you answer this question for your clients. We will discuss outfit selections and the effects of color on different skin tones.
We will discuss what to look for when choosing a MUA and the importance of choosing your designated MUA for your clients.
We will cover the basics when it comes to editing. I will share my work flow to show you how to streamline your process and reduce your editing time per image.
